La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus are hot on the trail of Napoli hotshot Marek Hamsik.
The Bianconeri appear to be preparing for life after Paul Pogba, who is widely tipped to become the world’s most expensive footballer when he leaves Turin in the near future.
And the latest reports suggest that Juventus see Napoli’s Marek Hamsik as a perfect replacement for the Frenchman.
The Bianconeri first registered their interest last season when the Slovakian clashed with Rafael Benitez, but the situation has changed a great deal since as the midfielder is back to being a key member of the Stadio San Paolo outfit.
Hamsik, 28, has spent last eight and a half years in Naples having joined from Brescia, scoring 80 goals in 305 Serie A appearances.
Juventus officials will have a perfect opportunity to take another look at their target when the two sides meet in the potential title decider on Saturday, with the Bianconeri 11/10 favourites to claim maximum points.
