Serie A champions Juventus are readying fresh bid for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri expect to see a major windfall on the back of their impressive results in this year’s Champions League and they will in turn reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window.
With Carlos Tevez set to leave either this summer or the next, signing a high-quality striker is clearly the priority and it would appear as though Juventus have made Edinson Cavani their top target.
The Uruguayan has a proven goalscoring record in Italian Serie A and he could be available for sale given his status at Parc des Princes.
Namely, Cavani is growing increasingly frustrated at being played out of position and chances are he would be tempted by the prospect of moving to Turin.
After recording a 2-1 triumph in the first leg of the CL semi-final against Real Madrid, Juventus are 6/1 chance to lift the coveted title.
