Italian champions Juventus are considering a fresh swoop for AC Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Bianconeri have yet to properly replace Patrice Evra and with Dani Alves also expected to leave at the end of the season, they desperately need to reinforce their full-back positions.
It is long-term target Mattia De Sciglio who remains the number one name on club’s hit-list, which is not at all surprising.
Namely, while performing well for both AC Milan and the Italy national team, the 24-year-old is equally adept at both right-back and left-back positions, and he also has his best years ahead of him.
De Sciglio has spent his entire career so far with the Rossoneri, making a total of 103 Serie A appearances.
Juventus coaching staff will have a perfect opportunity to make a check on their target when the two teams square off in Turin tomorrow, with the Bianconeri 2/5 favourites to win their 31st consecutive Serie A game at home.
