Juventus in fresh assault on Oscar

Italian champions Juventus are readying summer bid for Chelsea midfielder Oscar, Turin based daily newspaper Tuttosport can reveal.

The Bianconeri have already done plenty of business in the summer transfer window, signing Paulo Dybala and Sami Khedira, with the deal bringing Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid also set to be completed.

According to Tuttosport, coach Max Allegri now plans to recruit an attacking midfielder who can operate in the hole behind the two strikers, and it is clear that Chelsea’s Oscar is his number one target.

The Brazilian is not exactly considered an indisputable member of the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge and it is believed the Blues would consider offers in the region of €35 million.

The Bianconeri will obviously attempt to lower the asking price and sign the midfielder at a reasonable transfer fee, with general manager Beppe Marotta set to open talks with the Premier League side.
