Serie A champions Juventus are said to be considering a shock transfer move for AS Roma midfielder kevin Strootman.
Sky Italia are reporting that Bianconeri would be willing to fork out €45 million in order to active the Dutchman’s release clause and strengthen their midfield for next season.
With Liverpool enforcer Emre Can set to arrive on a free transfer, Juventus are said to be looking to add more strength to the centre of the park and are willing to approach their fierce rivals in attempt to land Strootman.
Dutch international has returned to full fitness following a series of serious knee injuries but is still considered a world-class footballer.
AS Roma would be eager to avoid repeating the scenario they witnessed with Miralem Pjanic back in 2016 but there is little they can do with Dutch international with a €45 million release clause valid for both Italian and foreign football clubs.
