Italian giants Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris Saint-Germain, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri have been looking at a number of players as they look to reinforce the squad in January, and they appear to have decided to make a move on the PSG star.
Lavezzi is seen as a good replacement for Carlos Tevez, with the current crop of strikers in Turn having failed to impress in the opening exchanges.
The Argentine has already made it clear that he will not be extending his stay at Parc des Princes, with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
But, with Juventus desperate to strengthen in January, there is a chance he could arrive this winter for a nominal fee.
The Bianconeri have finally managed to kick-start their league campaign and are now 4/1 to lift the Serie A trophy.
