Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claims that Juventus are hot on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
It is no secret that the Bianconeri have been trying to bring the Frenchman to Turin for quite some time and they hope to finally make a breakthrough.
Considering that Matuidi’s contract is due to expire in June 2018, Juventus are not prepared to offer more than €15 million, whereas the Saints are holding out for €30 million.
The Bianconeri do hope that PSG will lower their asking price now that they are set to splash €222 million on Barcelona star Neymar.
Matudi has been an important player for the Saints ever since he arrived from Saint Etienne six years ago, going on to make 201 Ligue 1 appearances.
