Italian champions Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Brazilian midfielder Oscar from Chelsea, Tuttosport has suggested.
It is no secret that the Bianconeri are keen on the 24-year-old footballer and the club officials were recently in London to make a new check on their long-term target.
And while Chelsea wouldn’t even consider selling Oscar last summer, the situation has since changed a great deal with the Blues enjoying a shocking start to the season.
In case Jose Mourinho stays at Stamford Bridge, he will probably overhaul his squad and the Brazilian is one of the players who could be facing the chop.
Therefore, Juventus officials believe they stand a very good chance of luring Oscar to Turin at the end of the season, especially having established an excellent relationship with the player’s representatives over the last couple of years.
Oscar has struggled for playing time this term, making just 6 Premier League appearances.
