Serie A champions Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder from Galatasaray, according to Tuttosport.
With Max Allegri having switched to 4-3-1-2 formation, the Bianconeri are in the market for an attacking midfielder and they appear ready to make a move on the former Inter Milan star.
Juventus aim to take advantage of Galatasaray’s financial problems as well as the fact that Sneijder is far from happy with his status at the club.
The two sides have already established initial contact, while the Bianconeri are in constant contact with the player’s representatives, and it appears the Old Lady will eventually sign the Netherlands midfielder on loan with an option to buy.
Having starred for Oranje at the 2014 World Cup, while putting in some strong performances for Galatasaray in the Champions League, the 30-year-old has clearly proved he still has what it takes to play at the highest level.
