Turin based Tuttosport has learned that Juventus are in talks with Cagliari over the signing of forward Victor Ibarbo.
Antonio Conte has identified the Colombian as a very good option for his 4-3-3 formation and has instructed the club chiefs to try and lure him to Turin.
That is not going to be an easy task given that Napoli are also keen, but the Bianconeri do seem to be leading the chase for the 23-year-old.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are prepared to offer €5 million plus co-ownership of youngster Stefano Beltrame in exchange for 50% of Ibarbo’s contract.
However, they are not willing to pay more than €4 million for the remaining part of the player’s rights, which could prove to be a deal breaker.
Juventus officials, nonetheless, hope they can reach an agreement with Isolani that would see Ibarbo, who scored 6 goals in 34 league matches last term, arrive in Turin this summer.
