The agent of Lyon defender Aly Cissokho has confirmed that Juventus are interested in signing his client.
The 24-year-old full-back is looking for a new challenge and he was expected to leave Gerland before the transfer window closes in January.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently revealed that the club are willing to listen to offers for the full-back.
The player, who has a contract until June 2014 with les Gones, has been linked with Liverpool, Newcastle and Juventus of late.
Cissokho’s representative has now moved to confirm that Juventus are keen on the French international.
“Juventus appreciates Aly, but they will not make an offer this winter,” Barat Ali told Le Parisien.
The agent also claims that the player is unlikely to move clubs in January.
“Aly is in Lyon. There will be nothing this winter, although you never know in football.”
Cissokho joined Lyon in a €15 million deal from Porto in July 2009, after the player’s proposed switch to AC Milan had fallen through.
The player has since become an integral part of the team, having featured in 79 Ligue 1 games for les Gones.
