According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Juventus could start taking a look at Olivier Giroud as a potential signing this summer.
The way in which this would become a reality is if a series of other possible targets fall through for the Italian champions. They are taking a look at Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli and Edin Dzeko of Roma, but there could be a domino effect which sees Roma actually go after Milik.
If Milik went to Roma then Juve could go in for Dzeko or, alternatively, Giroud. While the Frenchman may have signed a new one-year contract with the club this summer, he is currently situated behind Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Juve haven’t been afraid to make big changes in the last few seasons but if they do want a high level forward to work alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, some will question whether Giroud is the right man for the job.
