According to the Mirror, Juventus are contemplating the future without Dusan Vlahovic, and one of the options to replace the Serbian striker is Liam Delap, currently playing for Ipswich Town.
Come next summer, Vlahovic will enter the final year of his contract and Juventus are keen to tie him down to a new deal, offering improved terms, but in case they fail to reach an agreement, they will be ready to place him on the transfer list and look for a new striker.
Delap is a product of the academy at Manchester City. Having had loan spells with several clubs, he joined Ipswich on a permanent deal in July this year for around £20 million. The Premier League champions negotiated both a sell-on and a buy-back clause. Since then, the 21-year-old has made a total of 14 appearances for his new club, scoring six goals and producing one assist. Manchester United and Chelsea are said to be watching his progress closely.
