According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus are still interested in the possibility of trying to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman played under Maurizio Sarri, the current Juve boss, last season at Chelsea and quite clearly made a positive impression. Alas, with Chelsea wanting a fee of around £100 million for him, there are question marks as to whether or not Juve would be willing to stump up that kind of cash.
It would certainly be worth it when you consider the kind of impact Kante tends to have on clubs. For both Leicester and Chelsea he was able to help guide them to league titles, and there’s no reason to believe he can’t do the same thing for Juventus – but perhaps, instead of the league, he can take them that next step further towards European glory.
After all, that seems to have been one of their primary objectives for quite some time now.
