According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Juventus are preparing to make a move for Fernando Llorente.
The veteran forward would be returning to the Old Lady after five years away, and he’d be making way over to the Italian champions from fellow Serie A side Napoli.
He may not always be remembered as the most consistent striker in world football when it comes to his goalscoring ability, but Llorente has the sort of longevity that is always going to make him a sustained threat in this game.
He’s probably in the final few years of his pro career, at least at the highest level, and Juventus need something to really help them surge forward in the title race.
Right now they are more than ten points behind the pace with it looking increasingly likely that one of the Milan-based clubs will recapture the title after years of dominance from Juve.
