Juventus are known for being a club that is always looking for players possible to sign on a free transfer. Just in the recent years, they signed this way numerous players, such as Blaise Matuidi, Emre Can, Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot and others.
Now they could be doing the same with Nemanja Matic. According to the Mail, the perennial winners of Serie A are interested in signing the Serbia international, as he is left frustrated at Manchester United. Matic is not playing regularly in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team and with his contract set to end in the summer of 2020, he could be going elsewhere on a free.
However, there are two problems with this potential deal happening. The first one is that Man United have an option to extend his deal by a further year, protecting themselves from not earning a transfer fee. The other one is that Matic will be 32 years old next summer and well past his peak.
