Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Juventus are hot on the trail of Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Bianconeri are aware that Real Madrid could activate the buy-back clause for Alvaro Morata next summer, meaning that they need to have a replacement ready in case that happens.
As a result, Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has been looking at a number of high-quality strikers and it appears that he could make a move on Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian has been in scintillating form ever since he nailed down a regular starting berth and he has been linked with quite a few top clubs.
But, the Bianconeri plan to use Marseille’s interest in Mauricio Isla, currently on loan at Stade Velodrome, as their wild card.
After the 22-year-old scored 13 goals in 26 Ligue 1 fixtures this season, everything suggests he will be leaving OM at the end of the current campaign.
