Juventus are keeping close tabs on Cagliari forward Victor Ibarbo, Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned.
The Bianconeri were hot on the trail of Fiorentina winger Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, but have so far been unable to find an understanding with their league rivals.
As a result, they seem to be turning their attention towards Cagliari’s Victor Ibarbo, Cuadrado’s international teammate.
The 24-year-old may not have scored too many goals for Isolani, but he was pretty impressive every time he was called upon and Juventus boss Antonio Conte plans to try and lure him to Turin this summer.
Cagliari are reportedly holding out for €15 million, while the Bianconeri are only prepared to offer €12 million, although they could lower the asking price by sending one or two players in the opposite direction.
After starting the first two group games for Colombia at the World Cup, Ibarbo has lost his place in the side, but los Cafeteros are 2/1 to produce another upset and eliminate Brazil.
