Germany international left-back Jonas Hector is almost certain to leave FC Koln at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old will be free to leave Billy Goats for a transfer fee worth paltry €8 million if FC Koln get relegated at the end of the current campaign, which at the moment seems highly likely.
The Billy Goats are second from bottom with only two points clear off last-placed Hamburger SV and face a proper challenge in the closing stages of the season.
Jonas Hector is one of the FC Koln players who is generating quite an interest from Europe’s top sides and will be under no shortage of offers once the season ends.
Borussia Dortmund were believed to be leading the race for his signature while the Italian media outlet Tuttosport reports today that Serie A champions Juventus are also eyeing the highly-rated defender.
Juventus are believed to be extremely keen on Hector who is expected to be a vital member of Joachim Low’s World Cup squad this summer.
