Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Bianconeri plan to recruit a talented right-back who would act as a back-up to Stephan Lichtsteiner, and at the same time learn from the Switzerland hotshot.
And after showing interest in Javier Manquillo, they are now making a check on Valencia’s Joao Cancelo.
The Portuguese full-back has shown a great deal of potential since joining from Benfica, and he went on to nail down a regular starting berth at Mestalla.
Cancelo started 21 La Liga fixtures this season, earning 6 yellow cards in the process, while also scoring once in six Champions League appearances.
The Portugal Under-21 international is predicted a bright future in the game and it is hardly surprising that Juventus are taking a closer look with a view of luring him to Turin in the near future.
