Italian champions Juventus are considering a summer bid for Palmeiras starlet Gabriel Fernando de Jesus, according to Tuttosport.
The 19-year-old winger is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s hottest prospects, and he thoroughly impressed the Bianconeri scouts at the Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand last year.
The youngster has also been in fine form playing for Palmeiras, scoring 9 goals in 40 league appearances, while netting 4 times in 5 Copa Libertadores outings.
Everybody agrees that he has a bright future ahead of him, and Juventus seem determined to secure his services before other interested sides have time to act.
The Bianconeri have already established the first contact, although reaching an agreement over the transfer fee is not going to be an easy task.
Namely, Palmeiras is only entitled to 30% of the transfer fee, while investment company Adequatesports owns 70% of the player’s economic rights.
