Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Juventus are closely monitoring the progress of Nicolas Castillo and Igor Lichnovsky.
Even if the Bianconeri officials are fully dedicated to signing a new striker in January, club scouts are checking on the progress of two players that could arrive in Turin in the future.
Juventus scouts are currently at the South American Under-20 Championship in Argentina, where they are watching two Chilean footballers.
Universidad Catolica striker Nicolas Castillo is seen as a potential great addition to the squad, with the 19-year-old scoring 8 goals in 21 league games last season.
Universidad Chile stopper Igor Lichnovsky is widely regarded as one of the most talented players in South America and he, too, is on Juventus radar.
Lichnovsky, 18, would have no problems obtaining an EU passport due to his Slovenian roots, which makes him even more appealing to the Bianconeri.
The two starlets have been in impressive form at the tournament, helping Chile record four straight victories in group stage.
