Juventus lead chase for Bonaventura

Italian newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that Juventus are in a pole position to sign Atalanta midfielder Giacomo “Jack” Bonaventura.

Rather than resting on their laurels after securing another Serie A title, the Bianconeri plan to further reinforce the squad and mount a serious challenge in the Champions League as well.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Atalanta star Giacomo Bonaventura.

The 23-year-old is seen as a cheaper alternative to Manchester United’s Nani and he would probably jump at the chance to join the biggest club in Italy.

Bonaventura can play across a number of positions in attacking midfield or even as a second striker, with Antonio Conte largely impressed by the player’s latest performances.

The talented footballer has made a total of 94 Serie A appearances for Atalanta, and has scored 18 goals in the process. He has managed 7 goals in 31 league matches this term.
