Italian champions Juventus have emerged as favourites to sign Colombian winger Juan Guillermo Cuadrado from Chelsea, Tuttosport has suggested.
The highly rated footballer has struggled to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge since joining from Fiorentina and he may be on the move as early as this summer.
And while Inter’s interest in the player appear to have cooled off, Juventus have made an important step towards luring the Colombian to Turin.
The Bianconeri have held several meetings with the winger’s representatives and they believe they can also find an agreement with Chelsea.
Prior to moving to English Premier League, Juan Cuadrado had developed into one of the leading Serie A wingers, playing for Udinese, Lecce and Fiorentina.
Capable of operating on either flank, in defence or midfield, the 27-year-old is incredibly versatile and no doubt that Juventus coach Max Allegri would be delighted to have him in the squad for the upcoming season.
