Italian champions Juventus are stepping up their efforts to recruit Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula, Tuttosport can reveal.
The Bianconeri were the first top side to show interest in the Serie B top goalscorer, who has since been linked with Napoli and several Premier League clubs.
Juventus officials are keen to act quickly and secure his signature before other interested sides have time to act, and thus avoid the scenario that happened with Marco Verratti.
Pescara are ready to cash in on their prized possession and they have slapped a €10 million price tag on his services, but the Bianconeri will attempt to lower the asking price and instead include various add ons.
Gianluca Lapadula has been in excellent form this season, scoring 23 goals in 35 league appearances, helping Delfini climb to promotion places.
However, the 26-year-old is almost certain to leave Pescara for greener pastures this summer even if the club secure promotion to Serie A.
