According to a recent report from L’Equipe, Italian giants Juventus are currently leading the race to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The 22 year old, who joined Lyon last year from Amiens, has been turning heads this season in a big way. He also made his debut for the French national team last year too, and is widely considered to be one of the stars of the future both internationally and domestically.
Juventus are said to be gearing up for their busiest summer transfer window ever, which isn’t exactly hard to believe. Ndombele is believed to be wanted by a series of top clubs across Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
Given how much potential is within that Juve squad, though, in addition to the fact that they have Cristiano Ronaldo on the books, it’s hard not to view them as the leading favourites right now.
