Juventus lead race for Tonali

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Italian champions Juventus are currently leading the race to sign Sandro Tonali. The 18 year old Brescia midfielder is considered to be one of the most exciting young prospects in Europe, with some even drawing comparisons between him and the great Andrea Pirlo.

Tonali’s potential has even been recognised by Roberto Mancini, who called him up to the Italian senior squad late last year.

Despite Juve being in the driving seat, however, a series of other European sides are interested in acquiring his services. This includes Chelsea, Napoli, AC Milan and Roma to name a few.

Juve have made a point of going after high profile superstars in the last year or so, but now, it appears as if they’re starting to shift their focus towards a new strategy as they prepare to make some big changes once the current season comes to an end.
