Juventus are beating Chelsea in the batlle to sign Radamel Falcao, according to the Express.
The Colombia international has returned to parent club Monaco after a disappointing campaign with Manchester United, where he scored just four goals in twenty-nine appearances in all competitions.
Premier League champions Chelsea are keen to give the 29 year the opportunity to remain in England as they look to bring in cover for fellow former Atletico Madrid man Diego Costa, though it is the Italian giants who are the front runners in the race to secure his services.
Falcao has a goal ration of almost two goals in every three club games he has played, across spells with United, Monaco, Atleti, Porto and River Plate while he has twenty-four in fifty-five outings for his country.
Juve face Barcelona in the Champions League final in Berlin next Saturday, and can be backed at 9/4 to lift the trophy.
