Italian champions Juventus are keeping close tabs on AC Milan wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma, Tuttosport can reveal.
The Bianconeri will soon start preparing for life after Gianluigi Buffon, who has long ago entered the final stage of his career.
And while many believe AC Milan starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma will succeed Buffon as the next Italy number one, there is a chance the 17-year-old will replace him in Turin as well.
Juventus officials are closely monitoring the youngster’s performances and they are expected to make their interest concrete when their current number one decides to retire.
Despite his fragile age, Donnarumma has already made 37 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri, while he was handed his Italy debut in the September friendly against France, replacing none other than Buffon.
AC Milan are obviously desperate to keep him at San Siro for as long as possible, but Juventus and few other top clubs seem to have other ideas.
