German newspaper Abendzeitung reports that Juventus are showing interest in Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler.
The 19-year-old is already considered an important player for the Miners and has started club’s first four games of the season.
The player’s talent has been recognized by top European clubs, with Abendzeitung claiming Juventus have joined the race for the player’s signature.
The same source understands that Monaco are also interested in the player who is valued at €12 million.
Draxler came through the youth ranks at Schalke and made his debut in the 2010/2011 season, scoring one goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances.
Despite his fragile age, the attacking midfielder started 21 Bundesliga games last term, and was even included in preliminary Germany squad for the 2012 European Championship.
Draxler is widely considered as the hottest prospect in Germany and it is highly unlikely that Schalke would be interested in selling one of their most prized assets.
