Italian giants Juventus have loaned youngster Iago Falque to Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal CF. The attacking midfielder, who turned 20 in April this year, will play for Villarreal’s reserve team. The Yellow Submarines also have the option to buy his services on a permanent basis at the end of the loan.
Vigo born Falque was in the youth ranks of both Real Madrid and Barcelona before joining Juventus in 2008.
Falque was part of the Spanish U-17 team that competed at the 2007 UEFA European Football Championship in Belgium. Spain ended up winning that tournament by beating England in the final.
