More interesting news surrounding Juventus this Thursday. After talks of the bianconerri potentially going after Paul Pogba in order to make a new summer statement signing, another midfielder could be on the go to Turin. But this time it is a defensive midfielder. It looks like Blaise Matuidi is set to leave Juventus at the end of the season and the Serie A champions are therefore looking for replacements.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus hope they will trigger the option to extend the midfielder’s contract for another year. That would give them the option to then sell Matuidi and earn profit after getting him on a free transfer a few years ago. Then after that, Juve would be going after his replacements and there are two names in already mentioned. One is Allan from Napoli and the other one is Real Madrid’s Casemiro.
None of those signings would be easy to get, however…
