Serie A champions Juventus are hot on the trail of Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Bianconeri were recently linked with a move for Palermo’s Paulo Dybala, but the Uruguayan is reportedly on top of their hit-list.
Juventus hope to make Cavani their marquee signing of next summer, and pair the PSG striker with Carlos Tevez up front.
Seeing as the Argentine plans to leave the Bianconeri at the end of the 2015/2016 season, the Uruguayan would then become the number one attacker in the squad.
The good news is that Cavani is looking to leave France at the end of the current campaign and a return to Italian Serie A appears to be on the horizon.
His suitors Juventus face a tricky tie against Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League Last 16 stage clash, with the Bianconeri 1/1 to win the first match.
