Serie A leaders Juventus are looking to bolster their defence line on the transfer deadline and will once again try to work out a deal for Parma centre-back Bruno Alves.
With Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci and Andrea Barzagli all suffering from injuries of late, Bianconeri are forced to add another option at the back and appear to have turned towards the experienced 37-year-old.
Juventus have already brought back Martin Caceres who arrived as a direct replacement for Mehdi Benatia but the Old Lady is now looking to make another addition to the ranks due to the current injury crisis.
Bruno Alves is a Portuguese international boasting a proper wealth of experience of playing at the top level and Juventus hierarchy believe he would be an ideal short-term solution.
Parma are said to be holding on to a €2 million transfer fee for their defender.
