Juventus no longer pursuing Chong?

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus are against the idea of signing Tahith Chong from Manchester United – mainly because they do not want to heap strain onto their relationship with United ahead of a potential move for Paul Pogba.

Chong has looked good in the handful of appearances he’s made for the club so far this season, but it seems as if he hasn’t been so good that Juve would be willing to put their possible Pogba deal at risk.

There are a lot of moving parts as always which will ensure an even greater volume of confusion, but as far as Chong is concerned, he simply isn’t being given enough minutes for United right now. If he’s going to keep progressing and developing as a young talent, he needs to start taking some risks in the form of a move away – whether it be a permanent one or a loan deal.
