Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws is reporting that Juventus have submitted an official proposal for Twente winger Nacer Chadli.
The highly rated midfielder is followed by a number of Europe’s top sides, but the Bianconeri seem to have moved to the front of the queue.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Juventus have offered €12 million for Chadli and they hope to close the deal in the coming weeks.
With the player’s contract set to expire in a year’s time, Twente are expected to seriously consider the proposal, especially since they are determined to sell the player abroad.
Ajax are also keen on the Belgium international, but the Tukkers don’t want to sell to their Eredivisie rivals.
Nacer Chadli has developed into one of the best attacking midfielders in the league since joining from AGOVV and it is clear he will be leaving Twente in the summer.
The 23-year-old has registered a total of 25 goals in 84 league matches for the club from Enschede.
