Juventus ponder bid for Lyon star

Juventus are weighing up January move for Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons, Tuttosport reveals.

Coach Alessandro Conte recently switched to 4-3-3 formation, meaning that he is known desperately short on central midfielders.

The Bianconeri are looking to address the issue in January and they have made Lyon’s Maxime Gonalons their number one target.

The 22-year-old has done brilliantly to replace Jeremy Toulalan this season and he is regarded as one of the most talented players in French Ligue 1.

However, Juventus will have to break the bank if they want to sign the promising midfielder as Lyon chiefs see Gonalons as an integral part of Remi Garde’s squad.
