Juventus prepare €70m De Ligt bid

Is the saga finally going to end? Matthijs De Ligt still has not chose his next club, but the Ajax captain will need to make a decision soon. We are already in the latter stages of June and the Dutch centre-back should be ready to pick his destination.

After so many rumours regarding Barcelona and then afterwards Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, it looks like his choice will be Juventus. Champions of Italy need to make big decisions and also big changes in their team in the coming years, especially in defence. Their centre-backs are well in their thirties and De Ligt seems a great option to make that average age go down.

According to the Dutch ‘De Telegraaf’, Juventus are ready to bid €70 millionfor Ajax star and will offer him a five-year contract. Should he sign with Juve, De Ligt could stand to make as much as €15m-€20m per season in Turin.
