Juventus prepare for Icardi bid

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are preparing to make one final major bid for Mauro Icardi – if they are able to raise the funds. Icardi has been informed by Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte that he has no future at the club, which is something that the majority of pundits and fans knew already.

As one of the most natural goalscorers in European football it will come as no surprise for fans to learn that Icardi is in high demand, with Juve being one of many different clubs around Europe that want to lock him down to a deal.

In terms of realistic options, though, it seems like Mauro is certainly leaning towards the idea of heading to Juventus. He knows Serie A inside and out, he would have a great chance of winning the Champions League, and it wouldn’t be too much of a culture shock for him – if at all.
