Juventus are readying a player plus cash deal for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Bianconeri are looking to sign a world-class striker this summer and general director Beppe Marotta admitted that one of Luis Suarez, Robin van Persie and Edinson Cavani could arrive to Turin.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants have decided to make a move on the Napoli star.
The Italian newspaper claims Juventus are ready to offer €20 million plus Sebastian Giovinco and Alessandro Matri in exchange for the Uruguayan forward.
The Bianconeri have just bought the other half of Giovinco’s contract from Parma for a fee of €11 million, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will remain in Turin.
Alessandro Matri, on the other hand, has become surplus to requirements at Juventus Arena and he will almost certainly be sold this summer.
