Paris Saint-Germain star midfielder Marco Verratti is back on Juventus radar with Serie A champions believed to be ready to launch an €80 million attack on the 24-year-old.
The Italian international has recently opened the door to a return to his homeland and now the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claims that Bianconeri are keen to add Verratti to their current crop and make him another high-profile Higuain-style purchase.
Verratti is being described as the missing link and a last piece of the puzzle for the Italian giants who look dead set on forging a team that would compete for European glory, while at the same time continuing its domination in Serie A.
With Paris Saint-Germain struggling to make leave their footprint at the major international level and with the club suffering a humiliating Champions League elimination, Juventus are hoping they will be able to persuade Verratti to join them this summer.
Marco Verratti played 21 Ligue 1 games this season producing 2 goals and 4 assists thus far.
