In-form Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi has long been linked with a move away from the Spanish outfit with the likes of Juventus sitting in front row for the signature of the towering 27-year-old.
The Old Lady are actively searching for midfield reinforcements and the French international is seen as one of the top targets for the January transfer window.
The Italian news outlet Tuttosport have learned that Bianconeri are ready to open negotiations with Sevilla over the possible €30 million, which is the amount written as N’Zonzi’s release clause.
Juventus are reportedly prepared to pay the full price for the midfielder, but are trying to negotiate the two €15 million instalments, one of which would be paid immediately and the other one in 2018.
N’Zonzi has so far made 13 La Liga appearances for Sevilla and scored two league goals. He also featured in the Spanish Super Cup and featured in a goalless draw against Juventus in Turin in the Champions League group stage.
The Frenchman in under contract with Rojiblancos until the summer of 2019.
