Serie A champions Juventus are ready to rekindle their interest in Manchester City stopper Matija Nastasic, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.
It is no secret the Bianconeri plan to sign a new central defender by the end of the summer transfer window, with Benfica’s Luisao one of the players on their wish list.
However, having learned that long-term target Matija Nastasic has been made available for sale, Juventus will turn their attention to the Serbia international.
Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that the 21-year-old is one of the players who can leave the club this summer, but while the Citizens are holding out for an outright sale, the Bianconeri reportedly plan to sign Nastasic on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
Despite not making too many signings this summer, Juventus have been made 6/5 favourites to defend the Serie A title, although that will be no easy job following the departure of Antonio Conte.
