Juventus rekindle interest in Ivanovic

Italian champions Juventus have reignited their interest in Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, the Daily Mirror can reveal.

Over the last few years, the Bianconeri have signed a number of high-profile footballers on a free transfer and they are always looking towards the (soon-to-be) free agents market.

Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel is widely expected to arrive in the summer, while Chelsea stopper Branislav Ivanovic could follow suit.

The Serbian defender, who can also operate as right-back, will be out of contract at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether he will be offered a new deal.

Ivanovic lost his place in the starting line-up as Antonio Conte switched to 3-4-3 formation, and he appears to be considering his options.

The 32-year-old has enjoyed a very successful career at Stamford Bridge, scoring 21 goals in 255 Premier League matches.
