Serie A champions Juventus are again showing interest in Barcelona defender Martin Montoya, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri hope to sign a right-back to challenge Stephan Lichtsteiner for a starting berth seeing that Romulo will be allowed to leave.
And the latest reports suggest that Juventus have reignited their interest in Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya.
The Spanish defender was on the verge of leaving in January, but even though he ultimately decided to remain at Camp Nou, a summer exit appears on the cards.
Namely, with Dani Alves extending his stay and Barcelona also signing Aleix Vidal, Montoya will request a transfer this summer.
Even if the Spaniard would have a tough task of pipping Lichtsteiner to a starting berth in Turin, he would certainly get a fair share of first team opportunities in case he decides to join Juventus.
However, long-term suitors Inter Milan might attempt to lure Montoya to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza instead.
