Having been linked with Pierluigi Gollini in the past, Serie A champions Juventus are reportedly prepared to come back for the talented Aston Villa goalkeeper once the transfer window reopens in January.
The 21-year-old shot stopper is believed to have rejected the chance to move to Turin from Hellas Verona this summer when he chose the Championship side, but with Aston Villa eyeing Swiss goalie Eldin Jakupovic it is becoming increasingly likely that Gollini will leave the Villa Park during winter.
According to various Italian reports, Bianconeri are ready to make a move and grab hold of the highly-rated keeper who is regarded as a potential long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.
The Old Lady are actively working on finding the proper replacement for their No. 1 and in addition to Pierluigi Gollini, Juventus are believed to be eyeing AC Milan starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has made stellar progress since his last season’s debut at Rossoneri.
