Juventus rule out Pogba return

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will not be returning to Juventus, the Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed.

The French international has endured a difficult start to the new season under Jose Mourinho and was even involved in a reported fallout with the Portuguese manager which all prompted rumours about his possible January departure.

The likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus were said to be monitoring the situation but now the club sporting director has moved to rule out any potential reunion with the Frenchman.

“We love him very much. We’re connected to him but we’ve never thought about it (bringing him back) and we’re not going to think about it,” Paratici told the Italian media.

Juventus are said to be on the lookout for midfield reinforcements and were closely linked with Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic but also the PSG wantaway midfielder Andrien Rabiot who is nearing the end of his contract with French powerhouse.
