According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Italian giants Juventus are expected to have a real overhaul this summer as they plan on selling a series of first team players.
While the Old Lady is on the verge of sealing another Serie A title, some have questioned whether or not they are capable of taking that next step in the UEFA Champions League as they attempt to become the Champions of Europe for the first time since 1996. The club has reached the final five times since then, losing on every occasion.
The players that are reportedly set to be put on the chopping block include Gonzalo Higuain, Sami Khedira, Federico Bernardeschi, Blaise Matuidi and Daniele Rugani.
Who they’ll bring in to replace them is another matter, but beyond that, you have to wonder whether these plans all depend on whether or not Maurizio Sarri will still be the club’s manager next season.
