Italian champions Juventus are set to complete the signing of Brazilian midfielder Matheus Pereira, Sky Sport Italia can reveal.
The two clubs appear to have already agreed on a transfer fee, believed to be mere €2 million, due to the fact that his contract at Corinthians is due to expire in just over a year.
Matheus is expected to arrive in Turin to undergo a medical in the next couple of days, and bar any surprises he will pen a long-term contract with the Bianconeri.
The talented footballer fits in Max Allegri’s plans of recruiting an advanced playmaker, although chances are he will be loaned out if he does sign for Juventus.
The 18-year-old has so far made just one league appearance for the senior side, but he is predicted a bright future in the game and has impressed playing for the national team at the Under-17 South American Championship.
