Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini says he is completely committed to the Bianconeri and that he could never play for Inter.
The Italy stopper is set to sign a new deal with the club that will keep him at Olimpico until 2015.
“Here I grew as a player and became a man. I see this as an important gesture from the club, the old and new leaders, because the negotiations regarding a new contract have been under way for quite a while,” said Chiellini.
He says he could never play for Inter.
“Never. I’ve got Juve inside me and I cannot see me wearing that shirt. That is why I have appreciated Burdisso’s choice, as having played for Inter and Roma he didn’t want to come to Juve. Consistency is important in life.”
Chiellini was linked with a move to Real this summer, but Juventus didn’t want to sell.
“The truth is that there was not a concrete offer. I know that Marotta has spoken to someone, but for details you have to ask him, not me. Juve were not interested in selling me.”
